Oh where to start... Mihashi is one of those characters that get to my heart. Partly because he reminds me so much of myself, right down to how he bites his lips. One of the best things about Ookiku Furikabutte is watching Mihashi as he reacts and develops into a braver pitcher.

Jomy is Soldier Blue's successor, he starts off not wanting the job, and not wanting to be a Mu, but he grows up. He grows into a great leader, and someone worthy of his title of Soldier. One of the most developing characters I've ever seen, through a series.

Matsuka is not a major character, but he's important to the story, he's the closest person to Keith, who leads the battle against the Mu, but Matsuka is a Mu. And his torn feelings between his people and Keith is overshadowed by his loyalty to Keith. And oh yes, he has awesome hair.
